Removal [06/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [06/2020 - ]

  2. REMOVE CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT ANCHOR BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  3. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [06/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [12/2021 - ]

  4. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [06/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [12/2021 - ]

  5. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [06/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [12/2021 - ]

  6. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [06/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [12/2021 - ]

  7. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 FLOOR MAT SUPPORT SIDE PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [06/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [12/2021 - ]

  8. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH 

    HINT: 

    Remove the rear door opening trim weatherstrip LH so that the rear seat side garnish LH can be removed.

    Refer to REMOVAL [06/2020 - ] 

  9. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 38 [06/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 38 [12/2021 - ]

  10. REMOVE TETHER ANCHOR BRACKET SET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 40 [06/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 40 [12/2021 - ]

  11. REMOVE LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 41 [06/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 41 [12/2021 - ]

  12. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 42 [06/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 42 [12/2021 - ]

  13. REMOVE FUEL FILLER OPENING LID LOCK COVER 
    1. Detach the claw and remove the fuel filler opening lid lock cover as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction

      HINT: 

      The fuel filler opening lid lock cover is a non-reusable part. Make sure to replace it with a new one.

  14. REMOVE FUEL FILLER OPENING LID LOCK RETAINER 
    1. Rotate the fuel filler opening lid lock retainer clockwise and detach the guide, then remove the fuel filler opening lid lock retainer as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction

      HINT: 

      The fuel filler opening lid lock retainer is a non-reusable part. Make sure to replace it with a new one.

  15. REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Detach the guide and remove the fuel lid lock with motor assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
    2. Disconnect the connector.
