Disassembly [06/2020 - 12/2021]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FOG LIGHT SEAL (w/o Intuitive Parking Assist System) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for both fog light seals.

  2. REMOVE FRONT ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE FRONT CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE FRONT CENTER ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE FRONT CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  6. REMOVE FRONT CENTER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  7. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  8. REMOVE FRONT TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Panoramic View Monitor System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  9. REMOVE DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Daytime Running Light) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  10. REMOVE DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Daytime Running Light) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  11. REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE 
    1. w/o Daytime Running Light:
      1. Detach the clamp and remove the No. 4 engine room wire.

    2. w/ Daytime Running Light:
      1. Detach the clamp and remove the No. 4 engine room wire.

  12. REMOVE NUT 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts.

  13. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and front bumper extension mounting bracket.

  14. REMOVE FRONT HOOD TO END PANEL SEAL 
    1. Detach the clip and remove the front hood to end panel seal as shown in the illustration.

  15. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Remove the 4 clips (A).
    3. Remove the 2 clips (B) and detach the guide.
    4. Remove the 8 screws.

    5. Detach the claw and guide to remove the radiator grille bracket as shown in the illustration.
  16. REMOVE SIDE RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING LH 
    1. Detach the claw and remove the side radiator grille moulding LH as shown in the illustration.

  17. REMOVE SIDE RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  20. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM

  21. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ARM HOLE COVER LH

    1. Remove the 6 outside moulding retainers.

  30. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR 

    HINT: 

    When removing the radiator grille protector, if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the radiator grille protector and lower No. 2 radiator grille using a heat light.

    Standard

    Item Temperature
    Lower No. 2 Radiator Grille 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    Radiator Grille Protector 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    WARNING:
    • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
    • Touching the heat light may result in burns.
    • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

    Do not heat the radiator grille protector excessively.

  31. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE 
    1. Detach the claw and guide to remove the lower No. 1 radiator grille as shown in the illustration.

  32. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH 
    1. Remove the bolt.

    2. Turn the clip 90° and detach the clip and claw to remove the front bumper side retainer LH as shown in the illustration.
  33. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  34. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER NO. 2 ENERGY ABSORBER 
    1. Detach the guide and remove the front bumper No. 2 energy absorber.

  35. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Detach the wire harness clamp.

    2. Remove the 8 bolts and front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.

  36. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER LOWER ABSORBER

  37. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER NO. 2 REINFORCEMENT 
    1. Remove the 4 nuts and front bumper No. 2 reinforcement.

  38. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts.
