Removal [12/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [12/2022 - 03/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [03/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [12/2022 - 03/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [03/2023 - ]

  3. REMOVE OIL PRESSURE CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY

      1. Disconnect the oil pressure control valve assembly connector.
      2. Using an 8 mm socket wrench, remove the bolt and oil pressure control valve assembly from the No. 2 timing chain cover assembly.
        NOTE:

        If the oil pressure control valve assembly is dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it with a new one.
