Removal [02/2024 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    When removing parts with double-sided tape applied, heat the portion of the parts with tape residue with a heat light if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove.

    Standard Value

    Part Temperature
    Metal parts 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    Resin parts 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    WARNING:
    • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
    • Touching the heat light may result in burns.
    • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

    NOTE:

    Do not heat the part excessively.

  2. REMOVE REAR DOOR BELT MOULDING LH 

    Refer to REMOVAL [02/2024 - ] 

  3. REMOVE REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP LH 
    Remove the rear door weatherstrip LH enough that the rear door window frame moulding LH (Center Pillar Side) can be removed.
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 35
  4. REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW FRAME MOULDING LH (CENTER PILLAR SIDE)

      *a Double-sided Tape - -
      Remove in this Direction Retainer
      Clip - -
      1. Remove the retainer and clip.
      2. Put protective tape around the rear door window frame moulding LH (center pillar side).
      3. Heat the double-sided tape of the rear door window frame moulding LH (center pillar side) using a heat light.
      4. Detach the clip and guide and remove the rear door window frame moulding LH (center pillar side) as shown in the illustration.
