Removal [02/2024 - ]: Procedure

PRECAUTION

NOTE:

When removing parts with double-sided tape applied, heat the portion of the parts with tape residue with a heat light if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove.

Standard Value

Part	Temperature
Metal parts	40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
Resin parts	20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

WARNING:

Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
Touching the heat light may result in burns.
Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

NOTE:

Do not heat the part excessively.

REMOVE FRONT DOOR BELT MOULDING LH
Refer to REMOVAL [02/2024 - ]

REMOVE FRONT DOOR WEATHERSTRIP LH

Remove the front door weatherstrip LH enough that the front door window frame moulding LH (center pillar side) can be removed.
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 40

REMOVE FRONT DOOR WINDOW FRAME MOULDING LH (CENTER PILLAR SIDE)

*a	Double-sided Tape	-	-
	Remove in this Direction		Retainer
	Clip	-	-

Remove the retainer and clip.
Put protective tape around the front door window frame moulding LH (center pillar side).
Heat the adhesive of the front door window frame moulding LH (center pillar side) using a heat light.
Detach the clip and guide and remove the front door window frame moulding LH (center pillar side) as shown in the illustration.
