Neutral Position Switch Circuit [01/2019 - 09/2022]: Procedure

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List
- Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.
Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Data List
Tester Display Measurement Item Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note Neutral Position SW Signal Neutral position switch status ON or OFF ON: Shift lever in neutral
OFF: Shift lever is in any position other than neutral- Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Data List
Tester Display Neutral Position SW Signal OK
The value of the Data List item changes in accordance with the operation of the shift lever.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH - ECM)
- Disconnect the C77 ECM connector.
- Disconnect the C63 neutral position switch connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
