Distance Control Switch Circuit [01/2019 - 03/2019]: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Radar Cruise 2 / Data List.
- Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

The value of the Data List item changes according to the operation of the vehicle-to-vehicle distance control switch.

- Remove the spiral cable sub-assembly.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY - FORWARD RECOGNITION CAMERA AND ECM)
- Disconnect the T9 forward recognition camera connector.
- Disconnect the A46 ECM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition I82-6 (DIST) - T9-3 (LKSW) Always Below 1 Ω I82-2 (ECC) - A46-35 (ECCS) Always Below 1 Ω I82-6 (DIST) or T9-3 (LKSW) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher I82-2 (ECC) or A46-35 (ECCS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher - Connect the A46 ECM connector.
- Connect the T9 forward recognition camera connector.
