Removal [09/2022 - 11/2022]: Procedure

- REMOVE FRONT WHEELS

- REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11
- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9
- REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
- REMOVE COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY WITH PULLEY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8
- REMOVE NO. 1 AIR TUBE
- REMOVE NO. 2 AIR HOSE
- DISCONNECT ENGINE WIRE
- REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT TENSIONER ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 59
- REMOVE TIMING GEAR COVER INSULATOR
- REMOVE CRANKSHAFT PULLEY ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14
- REMOVE TIMING CHAIN COVER ASSEMBLY
- Remove the 12 bolts and seal washer.
- Remove the timing chain cover assembly by prying between the timing chain cover assembly and oil pan sub-assembly, cylinder block sub-assembly with a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape.
- Remove the 2 oil pump gaskets from the cylinder block sub-assembly.NOTE:
Be careful not to damage the contact surfaces of the oil pan sub-assembly.
- Remove the 12 bolts and seal washer.
- REMOVE TIMING CHAIN COVER OIL SEAL
