Removal [11/2022 - ]: Procedure

- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [11/2022 - 09/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [09/2024 - ]
- DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [09/2022 - 09/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [09/2024 - ]
- REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD
Refer to REMOVAL [11/2022 - ]
- REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
Refer to REMOVAL [11/2022 - 09/2024] , or refer to REMOVAL [09/2024 - ]
- DISCONNECT NO. 5 WATER BY-PASS HOSE
- DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE
- REMOVE AIR CONNECTOR STAY
- REMOVE WATER INLET WITH WATER PUMP HOUSING SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 4 water by-pass hose from the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.NOTE:
- Do not apply force to the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly when disconnecting the No. 4 water by-pass hose.
- Do not damage the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.
- Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and water inlet with water pump housing sub-assembly from the cylinder block sub-assembly.
- Remove the gasket from the water inlet with water pump housing sub-assembly.
- Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 4 water by-pass hose from the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.
- REMOVE WATER INLET WITH THERMOSTAT SUB-ASSEMBLY
