Removal [09/2024 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  4. REMOVE PROPELLER WITH CENTER BEARING SHAFT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [09/2022 - ]

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 3 nuts.

    2. Disengage the clip to remove the No. 1 front floor heat insulator sub-assembly.
  6. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [09/2024 - ]

  7. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Move the shift lever to N.
    2. Disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the transmission floor shift assembly.

    3. Rotate the lock nut counterclockwise approximately 180° and, while holding the lock nut in that position, disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the transmission floor shift assembly.

      *a Lock Nut
      *b Counterclockwise
      NOTE:

      Do not forcibly pull the transmission control cable assembly into the cabin.

    4. While disengaging the clip (A) as shown in the illustration, disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the transmission control shaft lever together with the clip (A).

      *a Clip (A)
      *b 45° to 60°
      *c Clip (B)
    5. Remove the clip (B) and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket.
    6. Remove the nut and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the vehicle body.

    7. Remove the 2 nuts and transmission control cable assembly from the vehicle body.
