Installation [07/2020 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SIDE RAIL SPACER LH 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the rear No. 2 side rail spacer LH is necessary.

    1. Engage the guide and 2 claws to install the rear No. 2 side rail spacer LH.
  2. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SIDE RAIL SPACER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY 
    1. For Normal Roof:
      1. Put the roof headlining assembly into the vehicle through the front passenger door as shown in the illustration.

        Install in this Direction - -
        NOTE:

        Do not damage the roof headlining assembly or vehicle interior.

      2. Engage the 2 guides and 2 fasteners.
      3. Install the roof headlining assembly with the 3 clips.
    2. For Glass Roof:
      1. Put the roof headlining assembly into the vehicle through the front passenger door as shown in the illustration.

        Install in this Direction - -
        NOTE:

        Do not damage the roof headlining assembly or vehicle interior.

      2. Engage the 2 guides and 18 fasteners.
      3. Install the roof headlining assembly with the 3 clips.
    3. For Front Pillar LH Side:
      1. Remove the protective cover.
      2. Engage the 2 clamps.
      3. Connect 2 connectors.
      4. Install the protective cover.
    4. For Front Pillar RH Side:
      1. Remove the protective cover.
      2. Engage the 2 clamps.
      3. Connect 2 connectors.
      4. Install the protective cover.
    5. For Windshield Glass Side:
      1. Connect each connector.
    6. For Map Light Side with Glass Roof:
      1. Connect the connector.
    7. For Rear Pillar LH Side with Digital Inner Mirror:
      1. Connect the connector.
    8. For Rear Pillar RH Side:
      1. Connect each connector.
  4. INSTALL RAIN SENSOR COVER (w/ Rain Sensor) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 FORWARD RECOGNITION COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  6. INSTALL NO. 2 FORWARD RECOGNITION COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  7. INSTALL VANITY LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [07/2020 - ]

  9. INSTALL MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  10. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for all assist grip assemblies.

    1. Install the 2 clips to the assist grip.

    2. Temporarily install the assist grip cover LH and assist grip cover RH to the assist grip as shown in the illustration.
    3. Engage the 2 clips to install the assist grip assembly as shown in the illustration.

    4. Engage the 4 claws to install the assist grip cover LH and assist grip cover RH.

      NOTE:

      Make sure that the clips are engaged securely.

  11. INSTALL REAR ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY LH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the assist grip sub-assembly.

  12. INSTALL REAR ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the assist grip sub-assembly.

  13. INSTALL VISOR HOLDER 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

    1. Engage the 2 claws to install the base of visor holder as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the visor holder as shown in the illustration.

  14. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Connect the visor assembly LH to the visor holder.

      *a Visor Holder
    2. Install the visor assembly LH with the 2 screws.
  15. INSTALL VISOR BRACKET COVER LH 
    1. Engage the 4 claws to install the visor bracket cover LH.

  16. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  17. INSTALL VISOR BRACKET COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  18. INSTALL NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX MOUNTING BRACKET 
    1. Install the No. 2 console box mounting bracket with the 4 bolts.

      Torque: 15 N*m (153 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf) 

    2. Connect the connector and 2 clamps.
  19. INSTALL TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [07/2020 - ]

  20. INSTALL ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Install 8 new clips to the roof side inner garnish assembly LH.

      HINT: 

      Make sure that the clip is engaged correctly.

    2. Engage the 8 clips to install the roof side inner garnish assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

  21. INSTALL ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  22. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Engage the 5 guides, 2 clips and 5 claws.
    2. Install the deck trim side panel assembly LH with the clip and screw.
  23. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Engage the 5 guides, 2 clips and 5 claws.
    2. Install the deck trim side panel assembly RH with the clip and screw.
  24. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  25. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH 
    1. Engage the clip and 6 claws as shown in the illustration.

    2. Engage the claw to install the rear seat side garnish LH as shown in the illustration.
  26. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  27. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Install the rear seatback hinge sub-assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 36.8 N*m (375 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf) 

  28. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  29. INSTALL CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT ANCHOR BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  30. INSTALL CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT ANCHOR BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  31. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR MAT SUPPORT SIDE PLATE 
    1. Engage the 2 claws and 4 clips.
    2. Install the rear No. 1 floor mat support side plate with the 2 screws.
  32. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 
    1. Engage the 2 guides, 2 claws and 4 clips to install the rear floor finish plate.
  33. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Install a new clip to the center pillar garnish assembly LH.
    2. Pass the anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly LH through the center pillar garnish assembly LH.
    3. Engage the clip as shown in the illustration.
    4. Install the center pillar garnish assembly LH with the 2 clips.

  34. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  35. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH LH 
    1. Engage the 2 clips and 2 claws to install the center pillar lower garnish LH as shown in the illustration.

  36. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  37. CONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  38. INSTALL LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER (for LH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  39. CONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  40. INSTALL LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER (for RH Side) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  41. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  42. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  43. INSTALL NO. 2 BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD 
    1. Engage the 2 guides and 5 clips as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction - -
    2. Install the No. 2 battery service cover board with the 2 clips.
  44. INSTALL NO. 3 BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD 
    1. Engage the 2 guides and 5 clips as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction - -
    2. Install the No. 3 battery service cover board with the 2 clips.
  45. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 
    1. Engage the 2 guides, clip and 7 claws as shown in the illustration to install the rear door scuff plate LH.

  46. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  47. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH 
    1. Remove the protective cover.
    2. Install 2 new front pillar garnish clips to the front pillar garnish LH.

      *1 Front Pillar Garnish Clip
      *2 Front Pillar Garnish LH

      HINT: 

      Make sure that the front pillar garnish clip is engaged correctly.

    3. w/ Front No. 3 Speaker:
      1. Connect the connector.
    4. Push the front pillar garnish LH as shown in the illustration to engage the 2 guides.

    5. Engage the 2 front pillar garnish clips to install the front pillar garnish LH as shown in the illustration.

      HINT: 

      Make sure that the curtain shield airbag assembly LH is not pinched.

  48. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  49. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  50. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  51. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH 
    1. Engage the clip as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the cowl side trim board LH with the clip.
  52. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  53. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 
    1. w/ Illumination:
      1. Connect the connector.
    2. Engage the 2 guides and 8 claws to install the front door scuff plate LH.

  54. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  55. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [07/2020 - ]

  56. INSTALL SPARE WHEEL COVER STOPPER 
    1. Install the spare wheel cover stopper.
  57. INSTALL BATTERY HOLE COVER 
    1. Engage the 8 claws to install the battery hole cover.
  58. INSTALL REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD 
    1. Engage the 3 clips to install the rear No. 3 floor board.
  59. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD 
    1. Engage the 3 clips to install the rear No. 2 floor board.
  60. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the deck board assembly.
  61. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the tonneau cover assembly.
  62. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY 

    For Manual Seat:

    Refer to INSTALLATION [07/2020 - ]

    For Power Seat:
