Removal [07/2020 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    1. for Audio and Visual System:

      Refer to PRECAUTION [07/2020 - 10/2022]

    2. for Navigation System:
      NOTE:
      • After performing any of the following procedures, the navigation system may restart after turning the ignition switch to ACC for the first time (due to radio and display receiver assembly and navigation ECU certification).
        • Disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) terminal of the auxiliary battery, replacing the auxiliary battery, or recharging the auxiliary battery after being discharged.
        • Removing and installing or replacing the radio and display receiver assembly or navigation ECU.
      • After replacing the radio receiver assembly, if "New software is not compatible with the system. Contact your dealer." is displayed on the multi-display, update the software of the navigation ECU.

  2. REMOVE CENTER UPPER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL (for 8 Inch Display) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27

  3. REMOVE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (for 8 Inch Display) 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Disengage the 6 clips to remove the radio and display receiver assembly with bracket as shown in the illustration.

      Place Hand Here
      Remove in this Direction
    3. Disconnect each connector.
  4. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET (for 8 Inch Display) 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and No. 1 radio receiver bracket.

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET (for 8 Inch Display) 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and No. 2 radio receiver bracket.

  6. REMOVE HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for 8 Inch Display) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  7. REMOVE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (for 8 Inch Display) 
  8. REMOVE CENTER UPPER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL (for 12.3 Inch Display) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27

  9. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (for 12.3 Inch Display) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  10. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (for 12.3 Inch Display) 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Disengage the 2 clips and remove the radio receiver assembly with bracket as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
    3. Disconnect each connector.
  11. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET (for 12.3 Inch Display) 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and No. 1 radio bracket.

  12. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET (for 12.3 Inch Display) 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and No. 2 radio bracket.
