Installation [07/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE ARMREST ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the rear console armrest assembly is necessary.

    1. As shown in the illustration, temporarily set the rear console armrest assembly and lock the lock.

      Install in this Direction - -
    2. Insert 2 new console compartment door hinge shafts in the orientation shown in the illustration.

      Push - -
    3. As shown in the illustration, push in the console compartment door hinge shafts from both sides at the same time to install the rear console armrest assembly.
    4. Make sure there is no clearance between the rear console armrest assembly and console compartment door hinge shaft.
  2. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY 
    1. Temporarily install the console box assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. Engage the 5 guides, 6 clips and claw as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction - -
    3. Engage the clamp and connect the connector.
    4. Install the console box assembly with the 5 bolts.
  3. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX CARPET 
    1. Install the console box carpet.
  4. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX POCKET 
    1. Install the console box pocket.
  5. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX INSERT 
    1. Engage the guide and 3 clips as shown in the illustration to install the front No. 2 console box insert.

  6. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX INSERT 
    1. Engage the guide and 3 clips as shown in the illustration to install the front No. 1 console box insert.

  7. INSTALL CONSOLE REAR END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the connector.
    2. Engage the 6 clips and 2 claws as shown in the illustration to install the console rear end panel sub-assembly.

  8. INSTALL CONSOLE CUP HOLDER BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the connector.
    2. Engage the 14 clips as shown in the illustration.

    3. Install the console cup holder box sub-assembly with the bolt.
  9. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the 3 connectors and engage the 2 clamps.
    2. Engage the 3 guides, 6 claws and 4 clips as shown in the illustration to install the upper console panel sub-assembly.

    3. Move the shift lever to P.
  10. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  11. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ORNAMENT (w/o Seat Heater System) 
    1. Engage the 6 clips and 2 claws as shown in the illustration to install the console box ornament.

  12. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ORNAMENT (w/ Seat Heater System) 
    1. Connect the connector.
    2. Engage the 6 clips and 2 claws as shown in the illustration to install the console box ornament.

  13. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE COVER 
    1. Engage the 7 clips as shown in the illustration to install the upper console cover.

  14. INSTALL UPPER NO. 2 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH 
    1. Engage the 8 clips as shown in the illustration to install the upper No. 2 console panel garnish.

  15. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH 
    1. Engage the 10 clips as shown in the illustration to install the No. 2 instrument cluster finish panel garnish.

  16. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL 
    1. Engage the 4 guides and 6 clips as shown in the illustration to install the No. 1 instrument side panel.

  17. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
