Removal [08/2020 - 08/2021]: Procedure

PRECAUTION
NOTE:
After turning the engine switch (for Gasoline Model) or power switch (for HV Model) off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

REMOVE LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER (for HV Model)

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

for A25A-FKS:

Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

WARNING:

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
If an airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious injury.

REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER ASSEMBLY (for Gasoline Model)

REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT INNER TRIM PAD (for Gasoline Model)
w/ Seat Heater System:

DISCONNECT REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Gasoline Model)

REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (for Gasoline Model)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8
REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK (for Gasoline Model)

REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
DISCONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP
1. Disconnect the front door opening trim weatherstrip.
REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE (for Gasoline Model)

REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE (for HV Model)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8
DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP
1. Disconnect the rear door opening trim weatherstrip.

REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER

Disengage the 3 claws to remove the lap belt outer anchor cover.

DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

Remove the bolt to disconnect the floor anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly.

REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH

REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

Remove the nut and disconnect the shoulder anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly.

Using a screwdriver, pull out the locking button as shown in the illustration to release the lock and disconnect the pretensioner connector.

*b	Locking Button
*c	Release

HINT:

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

Remove the 2 bolts.

Disengage the 2 guides to remove the front seat outer belt assembly.

REMOVE FRONT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY

Remove the 2 bolts.

Disengage the guide to remove the front shoulder belt anchor adjuster assembly.
