Installation [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL NO. 1 CONVERTER BRACKET

    NOTE:

    When removing and reinstalling the converter bracket, do not place loads on the AMD bolt, connector, fins, or breather plug.

    1. *a: AMD bolt

      *b: Connector

    2. *c: Fins
    3. *d: Breather plug

      *a Positioning Pin/Hole - -
      1. Align the No. 1 converter bracket positioning hole with the DC/DC converter assembly positioning pin, and rotate in the direction shown in the illustration to align with the bolt hole.
      2. Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration to install the No. 1 converter bracket.

        Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf)

    NOTE:

      *a Positioning Pin/Hole - -
      1. Align the No. 2 converter bracket positioning hole with the DC/DC converter assembly positioning pin, and rotate in the direction shown in the illustration to align with the bolt hole.
      2. Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration to install the No. 2 converter bracket.

        Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf) 

  3. INSTALL DC/DC CONVERTER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET

    WARNING:

    Wear insulated gloves.

      *a Green-colored Lock Slide
      1. Install the DC/DC converter assembly with bracket with the 2 nuts.

        Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf) 

      2. Engage the 2 clamps.
      3. Connect the connector and slide the green-colored lock as shown in the illustration to lock it securely.
      4. Connect the connector.
  4. CONNECT NO. 2 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE

    WARNING:

    Wear insulated gloves.

      Torque: 18 N.m (184 kgf/cm, 13 ft.lbf) 

  5. INSTALL DC/DC CONVERTER COOLING EXHAUST DUCT

    		 Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
  6. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER RH 
  7. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER LH 
  8. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 
  9. INSTALL FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 
  10. INSTALL TOOL BOX 
  11. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH 
  12. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
  13. CONNECT FC CONVERTER POWER OUTLET CABLE (INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY)

    		 Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 58 [11/2021 - 12/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 58 [12/2023 - ]
  14. INSTALL FC STACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
  15. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL 
  16. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [11/2020 - 12/2022] , or refer to INSTALLATION [12/2022 - ]
