Installation [12/2023 - ]: Procedure
- INSTALL HYDROGEN RECIRCULATION PUMP ASSEMBLY

- Apply TOYOTA Genuine FC Grease to the new O-ring.
- Install the O-ring to the hydrogen recirculation separator assembly.NOTE:
Keep the O-ring and O-ring fitting surfaces free of foreign matter.
- Temporarily install the 3 bolts.
- Install the hydrogen recirculation pump assembly to the hydrogen recirculation separator assembly with the 3 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.
Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf)

- INSTALL HYDROGEN RECIRCULATION SEPARATOR COVER
- INSTALL HYDROGEN PUMP COOLING INLET HOSE
*a 45° *b 90° *c Paint Mark *d Top *e 2 to 5 mm - - - Install the hydrogen pump cooling inlet hose to the hydrogen recirculation pump assembly with hydrogen recirculation separator assembly and slide the 2 clips to secure it.NOTE:
- Make sure to position the clip as shown in the illustration.
- No designated position for the clip claws B.
- Install the hydrogen pump cooling inlet hose to the hydrogen recirculation pump assembly with hydrogen recirculation separator assembly and slide the 2 clips to secure it.
- INSTALL WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET
Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf)
- INSTALL HYDROGEN RECIRCULATION PUMP ASSEMBLY WITH HYDROGEN RECIRCULATION SEPARATOR ASSEMBLY

*1 Green-colored Lock - - - Install the hydrogen recirculation pump assembly with hydrogen recirculation separator assembly with the 3 bolts and nut in the order shown in the illustration.
Torque: 20 N.m (204 kgf/cm,
- As shown in the illustration, connect the connector push in the green-colored lock to securely fix it in place.
- Attach the 6 clamps.
- Install the hydrogen recirculation pump assembly with hydrogen recirculation separator assembly with the 3 bolts and nut in the order shown in the illustration.

- INSTALL NO. 2 HYDROGEN TUBE
- INSTALL NO. 3 HYDROGEN TUBE
- CONNECT WATER HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY
- CONNECT WIRE HARNESS
- INSTALL INTERCOOLER WITH SENSOR ASSEMBLY

- CONNECT FC CONVERTER POWER OUTLET CABLE (INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY)

- INSPECT FOR HYDROGEN GAS LEAK (for Medium Pressure)
See step 5 - INSPECT FOR HYDROGEN GAS LEAK (for Low Pressure)

- INSTALL FRONT FRAME ASSEMBLY
Bolt Nut Attachments - - - Set the front frame assembly on an engine lifter.WARNING:
- The front frame assembly is a heavy component. Make sure that it is supported securely.
- If it is not supported securely, it could fall and result in a serious accident.
NOTE:Using height adjustment attachments and plate lift attachments, keep the front frame assembly level.
- Raise the front frame assembly until there is no clearance between the front frame assembly and vehicle body.NOTE:
When raising the front frame assembly, be careful not to damage the vehicle body or other components installed to the vehicle.
- Install the front frame assembly with the 4 bolts and 8 nuts.
Bolt (A), Nut (C)
Torque: 170 N.m (1734 kgf/cm, 125 ft.lbf)
Bolt (B), Nut (D)
Torque: 120 N.m (1224 kgf/cm, 89 ft.lbf)
Nut (E)
Torque: 65 N.m (663 kgf/cm, 48 ft.lbf)
NOTE:- Perform this procedure with several people supporting the front frame assembly so that it does not tilt or fall.
- Remove while paying attention to the wire harnesses and steering shaft.
- Set the front frame assembly on an engine lifter.
- REMOVE ENGINE SUPPORT BRIDGE

- CONNECT WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET
Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf)
- CONNECT NO. 2 STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 - INSTALL FRONT COMPARTMENT SIDE COVER RH
- Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- INSTALL FRONT COMPARTMENT SIDE COVER LH

- ADD COOLANT (TOYOTA GENUINE FC STACK COOLANT (Pre-mixed))

- INSPECT FOR COOLANT (TOYOTA GENUINE FC STACK COOLANT (Pre-mixed)) LEAK

- INSTALL NO. 3 FC EXHAUST PIPE
