Removal [11/2021 - 12/2022]: Procedure

  1. CAUTIONS FOR HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEM COMPONENTS

  4. REMOVE FC COOLING WATER ION EXCHANGER ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE SERVICE PLUG GRIP 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - 12/2022]

  6. DISCONNECT FC CONVERTER POWER OUTLET CABLE (INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY)

  7. REMOVE CONNECTOR COVER ASSEMBLY

  11. REMOVE FC CONVERTER POWER OUTLET BRACKET

  12. REMOVE NO. 2 RELAY BLOCK COVER

  13. DISCONNECT STACK WIRE

  15. REMOVE NO. 9 FC RADIATOR HOSE

      1. Slide the clip and remove the No. 9 FC radiator hose from the FC cooling water temperature sensor control valve.
      2. To prevent contamination by foreign matter, cover the connecting portions of the No. 9 FC radiator hose and FC cooling water temperature control valve with plastic bags.
  16. DISCONNECT NO. 7 FC RADIATOR HOSE

      1. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 7 FC radiator hose from the FC cooling water temperature sensor control valve.
      2. To prevent contamination by foreign matter, cover the connecting portions of the No. 7 FC radiator hose and FC cooling water temperature control valve with plastic bags.
  17. REMOVE FC COOLING WATER TEMPERATURE CONTROL VALVE

    NOTE:
    • When installing, do not hold the FC cooling water temperature control valve by its port portion.
    • If the FC cooling water temperature control valve has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      1. Remove the 3 bolts and disconnect the connector.
      2. To prevent contamination by foreign matter, cover the connecting portions of the FC cooling water temperature control valve with plastic bags.
      3. Slide the clip and remove the No. 6 FC radiator hose from the FC cooling water temperature sensor control valve.
      4. To prevent contamination by foreign matter, cover the connecting portions of the No. 6 FC radiator hose and FC cooling water temperature control valve with plastic bags.
