Removal [12/2022 - 12/2023]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION

    NOTE:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    WARNING:
    • Wait at least 60 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
    • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

      "TORX" screw Connector
      1. Disconnect the connector.
      2. Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 3 TORX screws and remove the front door lock with motor assembly.

  23. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOCK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claw to open the front door lock cover sub-assembly.
      2. Disengage the claw to remove the front door lock cover sub-assembly.

    NOTE:

    When reusing a removed front door lock with motor assembly, replace the door lock wiring harness seal with a new one.
