Installation [11/2020 - ]: Procedure

   1. The following procedure is performed to install the front seat cushion heater assembly LH to separate type front seat cushion pad LH.

      1. Remove the release paper of area A from the front seat cushion heater assembly LH and attach it to the separate type front seat sushion pad LH aligning with the positioning standard.

      2. Remove the release paper of area B from the front seat cushion heater assembly LH and attach it to the separate type front seat sushion pad LH aligning with the positioning standard.

      3. Remove the release paper of area C from the front seat cushion heater assembly LH and attach it to the separate type front seat sushion pad LH aligning with the positioning standard.

      4. Remove the release paper of area D from the front seat cushion heater assembly LH and attach it to the separate type front seat sushion pad LH aligning with the positioning standard.

      5. Remove the release paper of area E from the front seat cushion heater assembly LH and attach it to the separate type front seat sushion pad LH aligning with the positioning standard.

      6. Insert 8 bridge parts of the front seat cushion heater assembly LH into the groove of the separate type front seat sushion pad LH.

      NOTE:

      • After removing the peeling paper, do not touch the surface of the tape with your fingers or cotton work gloves.
      • Do not reuse the front seat cushion heater assembly LH and separate type front seatback cover LH.
      • Apply pressure to paste the front seat cushion heater assembly LH to the separate type front seat cushion pad LH securely.

Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf/cm, 31 ft.lbf)
