Removal [08/2015 - 08/2017]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Refer to PRECAUTION [08/2015 - ] ).

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2015 - 08/2017] ).

  3. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [08/2015 - ]

  4. REMOVE DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)

    1. Disconnect the connectors.
    2. Remove the 3 bolts and automatics transceiver with bracket.
  5. REMOVE MAYDAY BATTERY

    1. Remove the nut and No. 3 telephone bracket together with the Mayday battery.
    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the Mayday battery.
