Removal [08/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [08/2015 - ]

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2017 - ]

  3. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 TONNEAU COVER HOLDER CAP (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24

  5. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT REAR SUPPORT PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  7. REMOVE REAR STEP COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  8. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23

  10. REMOVE REAR SEAT COVER CAP 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25

  11. REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 WOOFER BOX SPEAKER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 5 bolts and box speaker.
