Removal [06/2017 - 10/2020]: Procedure
- RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
For HFC-134a (R134a):
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
For HFO-1234yf (R1234yf):
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT
Refer to REMOVAL [03/2017 - ]
- REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [06/2017 - 08/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [08/2018 - 09/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [09/2019 - 03/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [03/2020 - 10/2020]
- DISCONNECT NO. 5 WATER BY-PASS HOSE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17
- DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose sub-assembly from the compressor assembly with pulley.
- Remove the O-ring from the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose sub-assembly.NOTE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.
- Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose sub-assembly from the compressor assembly with pulley.
- DISCONNECT SUCTION HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY WITH PULLEY
