Removal [06/2017 - 03/2020]: Procedure
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [06/2017 - 08/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [08/2018 - 10/2020]
- REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [06/2017 - 08/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [08/2018 - 09/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [09/2019 - 03/2020]
- REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [06/2017 - 08/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [08/2018 - 09/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [09/2019 - 03/2020]
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [06/2017 - 08/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [08/2018 - 09/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [09/2019 - 03/2020]
- REMOVE ECM
- Rotate the 3 levers while pushing the locks, and disconnect the 3 ECM connectors.NOTE:
After disconnecting the ECM connectors, make sure that dirt, water or other foreign matter does not contact the connecting parts of the ECM connectors.
- Remove the 2 bolts, nut and ECM.NOTE:
If the ECM has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- Rotate the 3 levers while pushing the locks, and disconnect the 3 ECM connectors.
- REMOVE NO. 1 ECM BRACKET
- REMOVE NO. 2 ECM BRACKET
