Installation [03/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL WATER INLET WITH THERMOSTAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install a new gasket to the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.

      HINT: 

      Be sure to clean the contact surfaces.

    2. Using an 8 mm socket wrench, install the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the No. 7 water by-pass hose to the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly and slide the clip to secure it.
    4. Connect the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly connector.
  2. CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33 [03/2017 - 06/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33 [06/2017 - 08/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33 [08/2018 - 03/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 37 [03/2020 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 37 [10/2020 - ]

  3. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [03/2017 - ]

  4. ADD ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [03/2017 - 06/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [06/2017 - 08/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [08/2018 - ]

  5. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [03/2017 - 06/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [06/2017 - 08/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [08/2018 - ]
