Disassembly [03/2017 - 09/2019]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [03/2017 - 06/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [06/2017 - 09/2019]

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [03/2017 - 06/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [06/2017 - 09/2019]

  3. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Disconnect the rubber band of the separate type front seatback cover.

  4. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE RH 
    1. Operate the vertical adjusting handle RH and using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the vertical adjusting handle RH as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this direction
  5. REMOVE RECLINING HINGE COVER RH 
    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw.

    2. Disengage the guide to remove the reclining hinge cover RH.
  6. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH

      Remove the reclining adjuster release handle RH.

  7. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP RH 
    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the seat adjuster cover cap RH as shown in the illustration.
  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws.

    2. Disengage the claw and 2 guides.

    3. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and slightly pull the front seat cushion shield RH as shown in the illustration.

    4. Disengage the guide to remove the front seat cushion shield RH as shown in the illustration.

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD RH 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides to remove the front seat inner cushion shield RH as shown in the illustration.

  10. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 SEAT TRACK SPACER

    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the lower No. 2 seat track spacer from the front seat inner cushion shield RH.
  11. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 SEAT TRACK SPACER

    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the lower No. 1 seat track spacer from the front seat cushion shield RH.
  12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the 2 hooks.

    2. Disengage the claw and 4 clamps to separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

      HINT: 

      Disengage the 4 clamps first.

    3. Remove the 4 bolts.

    4. Disengage the 4 guides to remove the separate type front seatback assembly from the separate type front seat cushion assembly.
  13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT 
    1. Disengage the 3 hooks.

    2. Open the 2 fasteners.

    3. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

  14. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD 
    1. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.
  15. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER 
    1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 9 claws and remove the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad as shown in the illustration.

  16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20

  17. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the 2 front seatback edge protectors from the front seatback frame sub-assembly RH.

    2. Remove the front seatback spring sub-assembly RH from the front seatback frame sub-assembly RH as shown in the illustration.

  18. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR 
    1. Remove the 2 front seatback edge protectors from the front seatback spring sub-assembly RH.
  19. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 SEATBACK HOOK 
    1. Remove the 2 front No. 1 seatback hooks from the front seatback frame sub-assembly RH.

  20. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD 
    1. Disengage the 2 hooks.

    2. Disengage the 10 hooks and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

  21. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER 
    1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 14 claws and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad as shown in the illustration.

  22. REMOVE RH SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

      Disengage the 4 claws to remove the RH seat reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  23. REMOVE RH SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  24. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH

    2. Disengage the claw and guide to remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.
  25. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH

    2. Disengage the claw and guide to remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.
  26. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE RH 
    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front seat wire RH.
  27. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION WIRE HARNESS HOLDER RH 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the claw to remove the front seat cushion wire harness holder RH.
  28. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Disengage the 6 hooks to remove the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly RH from the front seat adjuster assembly RH.

  29. REMOVE SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the seat track adjusting handle from the front seat adjuster assembly RH.

  30. REMOVE FRONT SEAT VERTICAL ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the front seat vertical adjuster assembly.
      1. Remove the 3 nuts and vertical adjuster plate.

  31. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTER BRACKET COVER RH 
    1. Disengage the claw to remove the vertical adjuster bracket cover RH from the front vertical adjuster brake sub-assembly RH.
