Disassembly [10/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT CENTER ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Parking Support Brake System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  2. REMOVE FRONT CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Parking Support Brake System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  3. REMOVE FRONT CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Parking Support Brake System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  4. REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ Parking Support Brake System) 
    1. for Bar Type Radiator Grille:
      1. Disengage the 7 clamps to remove the No. 4 engine room wire.

    2. for Mesh Type Radiator Grille:
      1. Disengage the 12 clamps to remove the No. 4 engine room wire.

  5. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Pre-collision System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  6. REMOVE FRONT LICENSE PLATE BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Bar Type Radiator Grille) 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the front license plate bracket sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  7. REMOVE FRONT LICENSE PLATE BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Mesh Type Radiator Grille) 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the front license plate bracket sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
  8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER PAD LH (for Bar Type Radiator Grille) 
    1. Remove the front bumper pad LH.

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER PAD RH (for Bar Type Radiator Grille) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  10. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER PAD LH (for Mesh Type Radiator Grille) 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and guide to remove the front bumper pad LH.

  11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER PAD RH (for Mesh Type Radiator Grille) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  12. REMOVE FRONT TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Panoramic View Monitor System) 

    for Bar Type Radiator Grille:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  13. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER INSERT (w/ Panoramic View Monitor System) 
    1. for Mesh Type Radiator Grille:
      1. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front bumper cover insert.

  14. REMOVE FRONT TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Panoramic View Monitor System) 

    for Mesh Type Radiator Grille:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  15. REMOVE FRONT SPOILER (for TRD) 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and 2 clips.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    2. Separate the double-sided tape.

  16. REMOVE HOOD TO FRONT END PANEL SEAL 
    1. Disengage the 6 clips.

    2. Separate the double-sided tape and disengage the guide to remove the hood to front end panel seal.

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws and guide to remove the radiator grille emblem assembly.

  18. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER UPPER RETAINER 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the front bumper upper retainer.
  19. REMOVE FRONT CENTER BUMPER BAR (for Bar Type Radiator Grille)

  34. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER

    1. Remove the headlight assembly LH.
