Reassembly [08/2018 - 09/2019]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL POWER SEAT TILT MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Install the power seat tilt motor assembly LH with the 3 bolts.

      Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf) 

      NOTE:

      Bolt (A) is shorter than bolt (B). Make sure to install them to the correct positions.

  2. INSTALL POWER SEAT LIFTER MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Install the power seat lifter motor assembly LH.
      1. Install the front seat vertical housing sub-assembly LH.

        *a Stud Bolt of the Front Seat Vertical Housing Sub-assembly LH
        *b Hole of the Front Seat Adjuster Assembly
        *c Front Seat Vertical Housing Sub-assembly LH
        *d Front Seat Adjuster Assembly
        NOTE:
        • Make sure to insert the stud bolt of the front seat vertical housing sub-assembly LH into the hole of the front seat adjuster assembly LH as shown in the illustration.
        • Make sure to position the front seat adjuster assembly LH so that when the front seat vertical housing sub-assembly LH is installed, their gears will be positioned as shown in the illustration.
      2. Install the vertical adjuster spacer.

      3. Install the front seat adjuster plate LH with the 3 nuts.

        Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf) 

        NOTE:

        Tighten the nuts in the order shown in the illustration.

  3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD 
    1. Engage the guide as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction
    2. Engage the claw to install the front seat lower cushion shield.

  4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION WIRE HARNESS HOLDER LH 
    1. Engage the guide as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction
    2. Engage the 2 claws to install the front seat cushion wire harness holder LH.
    3. Install the 2 screws.

  5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Engage the 6 hooks to install the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly LH to the front seat adjuster assembly LH.

  6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT NO. 3 WIRE LH 
    1. Engage the claw to install the front seat No. 3 wire LH.

  7. INSTALL SEAT SLIDE POSITION SENSOR PROTECTOR 
    1. Insert the seat slide position sensor protector as shown in the illustration.

      *b Engagement Point
      Engage in this Direction
      Insert in this Direction
    2. Engage the seat slide position sensor protector to the pin of the seat position airbag sensor as shown in the illustration.
    3. Engage the clamp and connect the connector.

  8. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE LH 
    1. Connect each connector and engage each clamp to install the front seat wire LH.
  9. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH 
    1. Engage the claw and guide to install the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

      *b Guide
    2. Engage the hook.
  10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH 
    1. Engage the claw and guide to install the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

    2. Engage the hook.
  11. INSTALL LH SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

      Engage the 4 claws to install the LH seat reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

    2. Engage the claw.

  12. INSTALL LH SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

      Engage the 4 claws to install the LH seat reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  13. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER 
    1. Engage the 14 claws to install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad.

  14. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD 
    1. Engage the 10 hooks to install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad to the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

  15. INSTALL FRONT SEAT NO. 2 WIRE LH 
    1. Connect each connector and engage each clamp to install the front seat No. 2 wire LH.
  16. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 SEATBACK HOOK 
    1. Install the 2 front No. 2 seatback hooks to the front seatback frame sub-assembly LH.

  17. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR 
    1. Install the 2 front seatback edge protectors to the lumbar support adjuster assembly LH.
  18. INSTALL SEATBACK FELT 
    1. Install the seatback felt to the lumbar support adjuster assembly LH.
  19. INSTALL LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  20. INSTALL FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  21. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Engage the 9 claws to install the separate type front seatback cover to the separate type front seatback pad.

  22. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD 
    1. Install the separate type front seatback cover with pad.
  23. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT 
    1. Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    2. Close the 2 fasteners.

    3. Engage the 3 hooks.

  24. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the 4 guides.

    2. Install the separate type front seatback assembly to the separate type front seat cushion assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf) 

    3. Engage the clamp.

    4. Connect the connector.
    5. Engage the claw and 4 clamps to install the front seat airbag assembly LH wire harness.

      HINT: 

      Engage the claw first.

    6. Engage the 2 hooks.

    7. Pass the separate type front seatback cover through the grooves of the LH seat reclining adjuster inside cover LH and LH seat reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  25. INSTALL LOWER NO. 3 SEAT TRACK SPACER

    1. Engage the 3 claws to install the lower No. 3 seat track spacer to the front seat cushion shield LH.
  26. INSTALL LOWER NO. 4 SEAT TRACK SPACER

    1. Engage the 3 claws to install the lower No. 4 seat track spacer to the front seat inner cushion shield LH.
  27. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  28. INSTALL SEAT ADJUSTER SHIELD CLAMP BRACKET LH 
    1. Install the seat adjuster shield clamp bracket LH to the front seat cushion shield LH with the 2 screws.

  29. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Engage the 4 claws to install the reclining power seat switch knob.

  30. INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Engage the 4 claws to install the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  31. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Connect the rubber band of the separate type front seatback cover.
