Removal [10/2017 - 05/2018]: Procedure

  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM (for HFC-134a (R134a)) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM (for HFO-1234yf (R1234yf)) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (for Halogen Headlight) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2017 - 09/2019]

  4. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (for LED Headlight) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2017 - 09/2019]

  5. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (for Halogen Headlight) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (for LED Headlight) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER UPPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE RETAINER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18 [10/2017 - 12/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18 [12/2017 - 09/2019]

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR TO SUPPORT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [10/2017 - 12/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [12/2017 - 09/2019]

  11. REMOVE HOOD LOCK NUT CAP 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  12. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY 
  13. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  14. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR AIR GUIDE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [10/2017 - 12/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [12/2017 - 09/2019]

  16. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [10/2017 - 12/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [12/2017 - 09/2019]

  17. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR AIR GUIDE LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 29 [10/2017 - 12/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 29 [12/2017 - 09/2019]

  18. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR AIR GUIDE RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30 [10/2017 - 12/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30 [12/2017 - 09/2019]

  19. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the bolt to disconnect the discharge hose sub-assembly from the cooler condenser assembly.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose sub-assembly.
      NOTE:

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  20. DISCONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT LIQUID PIPE A 
    1. Remove the bolt to disconnect the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A from the cooler condenser assembly.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A.
      NOTE:

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  21. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the claws and guides to remove the cooler condenser assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
      NOTE:

      Do not damage the cooler condenser assembly or radiator assembly when removing the cooler condenser assembly.
