Installation [08/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Pass the transmission control cable assembly into the vehicle and install the transmission control cable assembly to the vehicle body with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 6.0 N.m (61 kgf/cm, 53 in.lbf) 

    2. Connect the transmission control cable assembly to the vehicle body with the nut.

      Torque: 6.0 N.m (61 kgf/cm, 53 in.lbf)

      *a Align the hole on the transmission control cable bracket with the protrusion of the vehicle body.
      NOTE:

      Do not deform the transmission control cable bracket.

    3. Connect the transmission control cable assembly to the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket with a new clip.
    4. Connect the transmission control cable assembly to the transmission control shaft lever as shown in the illustration.

      NOTE:

      Before installing the transmission control cable assembly, check that the park/neutral position switch assembly and shift lever are in N.

  2. CONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY 

    See step  2

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX DUCT 

    See step  3

  4. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [11/2018 - 12/2021] , or refer to INSTALLATION [12/2021 - ]

  5. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  6. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 99 [08/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 99 [12/2021 - ]

  7. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 100 [08/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 100 [12/2021 - ]

  8. INSTALL FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 102 [08/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 102 [12/2021 - ]

  9. INSTALL FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 101 [08/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 101 [12/2021 - ]

  10. INSTALL BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 71 [08/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 71 [12/2021 - ]

  11. INSTALL ECM 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2020 - ]

  12. INSTALL BATTERY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [11/2018 - 10/2023] , or refer to INSTALLATION [10/2023 - ]

  13. INSPECT SHIFT LEVER POSITION 

    See step  2

  14. ADJUST SHIFT LEVER POSITION 

    Refer to ADJUSTMENT [11/2018 - ]
