Removal [08/2020 - 12/2021]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [11/2018 - ]

  2. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE BATTERY HOLE COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2020 - 12/2021]

  6. REMOVE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [08/2020 - 12/2021] 

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the connector from the No. 2 fuel pressure sensor.

    2. Remove the bolt and No. 2 fuel pressure sensor from the fuel delivery pipe sub-assembly.

    3. Remove the No. 2 fuel pressure sensor from the No. 2 fuel pressure sensor holder.

    4. Remove the O-ring from the No. 2 fuel pressure sensor.
