Installation [04/2018 -]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    1. w/o Navigation System:
      NOTE:
      • When replacing the radio and display receiver assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a radio and display receiver assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the following may occur:
        • A communication malfunction DTC may be stored.
        • The radio and display receiver assembly may not operate normally.

      for Gasoline Model: Refer to PRECAUTION [04/2018 - 08/2021] , or refer to PRECAUTION [08/2021 -]

      for HV Model: Refer to PRECAUTION [04/2018 - 08/2021] , or refer to PRECAUTION [08/2021 -]

    2. w/ Navigation System:
      NOTE:
      • When replacing the radio and display receiver assembly or navigation ECU, always replace it with a new one. If a radio and display receiver assembly or navigation ECU which was installed to another vehicle is used, the following may occur:
        • A communication malfunction DTC may be stored.
        • The radio and display receiver assembly or navigation ECU may not operate normally.
      • After replacing the radio and display receiver assembly, if "New software is not compatible with the system. Contact your dealer." is displayed on the multi-display, update the software of the navigation ECU.

      for Gasoline Model: Refer to PRECAUTION [04/2018 - 08/2021] , or refer to PRECAUTION [08/2021 -]

      for HV Model: Refer to PRECAUTION [04/2018 - 08/2021] , or refer to PRECAUTION [08/2021 -]

  2. INSTALL RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY 
  3. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the 8 claws to install the No. 2 instrument panel register assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction
  4. INSTALL NO. 2 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET 
    1. Install the No. 2 radio receiver bracket with the 4 screws.
  5. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET 
    1. Install the No. 1 radio receiver bracket with the 4 screws.
  6. INSTALL INTERIOR ILLUMINATION LIGHT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  7. INSTALL RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET 
    1. Connect each connector.
    2. Engage the 5 clips to temporarily install the radio and display receiver assembly with bracket as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction
    3. Install the radio and display receiver assembly with bracket with the 4 bolts.
  8. INSTALL CENTER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 41

  9. INSTALL CENTER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 42

  10. INSTALL CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [04/2018 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [08/2020 -]

  11. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX POCKET SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [04/2018 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [08/2020 -]

  12. INSTALL FRONT CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [04/2018 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [08/2020 -]

  13. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [04/2018 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [08/2020 -]

  14. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [04/2018 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [08/2020 -]
