Removal [06/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [06/2015 - 11/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [11/2018 - ]

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR ARMREST COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [06/2015 - 11/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [11/2018 - ]

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT DOOR STIFFENER CUSHION 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [06/2015 - 11/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [11/2018 - ]

  4. REMOVE COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [06/2015 - 11/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [11/2018 - ]

  6. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR INSTALL HOLE COVER 
    1. Remove the screw.

      Place Hands Here
      Remove in this Direction (1)
      Remove in this Direction (2)
    2. Disengage the claws to remove the outer mirror install hole cover as shown in the illustration.
  7. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 outer mirror protectors.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

      *a Clamp
      *b Guide
      Push
    3. Disengage the clamp.
    4. Remove the 3 nuts.
    5. Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw.
    6. Disengage the guides to remove the outer rear view mirror assembly.
