Removal [06/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [06/2015 - 11/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [11/2018 - ]

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR ARMREST COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [06/2015 - 11/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [11/2018 - ]

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT DOOR STIFFENER CUSHION 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [06/2015 - 11/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [11/2018 - ]

  4. REMOVE COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [06/2015 - 11/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [11/2018 - ]

  6. REMOVE MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side) 
    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Remove the 7 screws.

    3. As shown in the illustration, slightly raise up the door trim upper panel assembly LH.

      HINT: 

      Raise up the door trim upper panel assembly LH far enough that the front door pull handle can be removed.

      *1 Door Trim Upper Panel Assembly LH
      Place Hands Here
      Raise Up
    4. Remove the front door pull handle as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
    5. Remove the 8 screws.

    6. Disengage the guide to remove the front door armrest base panel assembly LH.

      Remove in this Direction
    7. Remove the 3 screws and multiplex network master switch assembly.

  7. REMOVE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side) 
    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Remove the 7 screws.

    3. As shown in the illustration, slightly raise up the door trim upper panel assembly RH.

      HINT: 

      Raise up the door trim upper panel assembly RH far enough that the front door pull handle can be removed.

      Place Hands Here
      Raise Up
    4. Remove the front door pull handle as shown in the illustration.

    5. Remove the 8 screws.

    6. Disengage the guide to remove the front door armrest base panel assembly RH as shown in the illustration.

    7. Disengage the claws to remove the door control switch assembly.
