Removal [06/2018 - 01/2019]: Procedure

- REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- REMOVE INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- SEPARATE THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the throttle body with motor assembly connector.

- Using an 8 mm socket wrench, remove the 3 bolts to separate the throttle body with motor assembly from the intake manifold.
- REMOVE THROTTLE BODY GASKET
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
- REMOVE NO. 1 EGR PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
- REMOVE E.F.I. VACUUM SENSOR ASSEMBLY (MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- DISCONNECT ENGINE WIRE
- Disconnect the connector.

- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps and disconnect the engine wire.
- Remove the bolt.

- Disengage the wire harness clamp and disconnect the engine wire.
- SEPARATE NO. 3 WATER BY-PASS PIPE
- Using an 8 mm socket wrench, remove the bolt and separate the No. 3 water by-pass pipe from the intake manifold.

- REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD STAY
- Using an 8 mm socket wrench, remove the bolt (A).

- Remove the bolt (B).
- Disengage the guide to remove the intake manifold stay.
- DISCONNECT NO. 1 FUEL VAPOR FEED HOSE
- Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 1 fuel vapor feed hose from the intake manifold.

w/o Stud Bolt:
- Remove the 5 bolts and separate the intake manifold from the cylinder head sub-assembly.
- w/ Stud Bolt:

- Remove the 3 bolts and 2 nuts.
- Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 stud bolts and separate the intake manifold from the cylinder head sub-assembly.

- Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor connector.

- Remove the intake manifold.
- REMOVE NO. 1 INTAKE MANIFOLD TO HEAD GASKET
- Remove the No. 1 intake manifold to head gasket from the intake manifold.

- REMOVE VACUUM HOSE
- Remove the vacuum hose from the intake manifold.
