Removal [12/2015 - 08/2016]: Procedure

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2015 - 08/2016] ).

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY 

    (Refer to REMOVAL [12/2015 - 11/2017] )

  3. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY WITH FAN SHROUD AND FAN MOTOR 

    (Refer to REMOVAL [12/2015 - 08/2016] )

  4. REMOVE FAN & GENERATOR V BELT 

    (Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 )

  5. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Turn back the terminal cap.

    2. Remove the nut and disconnect the wire harness from terminal B.
    3. Disconnect the generator connector from the generator assembly.
    4. Disconnect the magnetic clutch connector from the compressor and magnetic clutch.
    5. Disengage the 3 wire harness clamps.
    6. Remove the 2 bolts.

    7. Disconnect the wire harness clamp and remove the generator bracket.
    8. Remove the 2 bolts and the generator assembly.

    9. Remove the bolt and the wire harness clamp stay.
