Removal [12/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER 
    1. While turning the steering wheel to the right and left, remove the 2 screws.

    2. Push the right and left sides of the lower steering column cover, and disengage the 4 claws.

    3. Disengage the claw to remove the lower steering column cover.

  2. REMOVE UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER 
    1. Disengage the claw.

    2. Disengage the 4 clips and 2 guides to remove the upper steering column cover.

  3. REMOVE TRANSPONDER KEY COIL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE UNLOCK WARNING SWITCH 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

      *a Protective Tape
    2. Insert the key into the ignition key cylinder.
    3. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws to remove the unlock warning switch.
