Removal [11/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2017 - ] ).

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    (Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 )

  3. SEPARATE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH 
  4. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH 

    (Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 )

  5. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    (Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33 )

  6. REMOVE PARKING ASSIST ECU (w/ Panoramic View Monitor System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  7. REMOVE MAYDAY ECU ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the 5 connectors from the mayday ECU assembly.

    2. Remove the bolt.

    3. Remove the nut and mayday ECU assembly.
  8. REMOVE TELEPHONE BRACKET SET 
    1. Disengage the 3 claws to remove the telephone bracket set.
