Installation [08/2015 - 08/2018]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL OUTLET RADIATOR HOSE 
    1. Install the outlet radiator hose into the radiator.

      HINT: 

      Install the hose so that the direction of the hose clamp is as indicated in the illustration.

  2. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Set the radiator bracket hooks to the radiator support holes.

    2. Install the radiator with the 4 bolts.

      Torque: 18 N.m (184 kgf/cm, 13 ft.lbf) 

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIATOR TO SUPPORT SEAL (for LH Side) 
    1. Install the No. 1 radiator to support seal with the 3 clips.

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIATOR TO SUPPORT SEAL (for RH Side) 
    1. Install the No. 1 radiator to support seal with the 3 clips.

  5. INSTALL RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH 
    1. Install the deflector with the 6 clips.

    2. Connect the wire harness clamp.
  6. INSTALL RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH

  7. INSTALL FAN SHROUD 
    1. Install the fan pulley to the fan bracket.

    2. Place the shroud together with the coupling fan between the radiator and engine.
      NOTE:

      Be careful not to damage the radiator core.

    3. Temporarily install the fluid coupling fan to the fan bracket with the 4 nuts. Tighten the nuts as much as possible by hand.
    4. Attach the shroud claws to the radiator as shown in the illustration.

    5. Install the shroud with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 6.5 N.m (66 kgf/cm, 58 in.lbf) 

    6. Connect the reservoir hose to the upper radiator tank.
    7. Install the fan and generator V belt (Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 ).
    8. Tighten the 4 nuts of the fluid coupling fan.

      Torque: 21 N.m (214 kgf/cm, 15 ft.lbf) 

  8. INSTALL INLET RADIATOR HOSE 
    1. Install the inlet radiator hose.

      HINT: 

      Install the hose so that the direction of the hose clamp is as indicated in the illustration.

  9. CONNECT OUTLET RADIATOR HOSE 
    1. Connect the outlet radiator hose to the water inlet housing.

  10. ADD ENGINE COOLANT 

    See step  3

  11. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  12. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the front bumper cover assembly (Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2015 - 08/2017] Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2017 - ] ).
  13. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  14. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16
