Removal [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to

    PROCEDURE - Step 2 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to

    PROCEDURE - Step 2 [08/2019 - 08/2021] , or refer to

    PROCEDURE - Step 2 [08/2021 - ]

  3. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    See step  2

  4. DISCONNECT NO. 3 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE 
    1. Disconnect the No. 3 air injection hose.

  5. DISCONNECT NO. 2 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE 
    1. Disconnect the connector and separate the wire harness clamp.

    2. Disconnect the No. 2 air injection hose.
  6. SEPARATE AIR PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector and separate the 2 clamps and wire harness.

    2. Remove bolt and separate the air pipe.
  7. DISCONNECT OUTLET RADIATOR HOSE 

    See step  6

  8. DISCONNECT NO. 5 WATER BY-PASS HOSE 
    1. Disconnect the No. 5 water by-pass hose.

  9. REMOVE INLET WATER SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH THERMOSTAT 
    1. Remove the 3 nuts, water inlet with thermostat and gasket.
