Reassembly [06/2015 - 11/2018]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH 
    1. Engage the guides to install the rear bumper side support LH as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction
  2. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  4. INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  6. INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH 
    1. Engage the claws to install the rear bumper side retainer LH as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction

      HINT: 

      Do not forcibly engage the clip.

    2. Install the 2 clips as shown in the illustration.

  8. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  9. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Install the rear bumper arm sub-assembly LH with the 3 bolts.

      Torque: 15 N*m (153 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf)

  10. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  11. INSTALL REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 6 bolts.

      Torque: 29 N*m (296 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf)

  12. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR 
    1. Engage the claw to install the rear bumper protector.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side.

  13. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER 
    1. Using a piece of cloth, rub off any double-side tape that remains on the rear bumper protector.
      NOTE:
      • Installing the rear bumper energy absorber while old double-sided tape remains can cause adhesion failure.
      • Using a screwdriver or similar tool to remove the old tape can damage the surface and cause adhesion failure.
    2. Using a non-residue solvent, clean the attachment surface.
    3. Remove the peeling paper on a new rear bumper energy absorber.
    4. Engage the guides to install the rear bumper energy absorber as shown in the illustration.

      Double-sided Tape
      Install in this Direction
      NOTE:

      Apply 2 pieces of double-sided type to the rear bumper energy absorber while pressing them into place.

  14. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PLATE LH 
    1. Engage the hook.

    2. Engage the claws to install the rear bumper plate LH as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction
  15. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PLATE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  16. INSTALL CENTER REAR BUMPER BRACKET 
    1. Install the center rear bumper bracket.

    2. Install the 4 outside moulding retainers.
  17. INSTALL REAR SIDE SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Engage the claws to install the rear side spoiler sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction
    2. Install the 6 outside moulding retainers.

    3. Install the 3 screws.
  18. INSTALL REAR SIDE SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  19. INSTALL NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  20. INSTALL NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  21. INSTALL NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE 
    1. Engage the clamps to install the No. 3 luggage room wire.

    2. Connect the 4 connectors.
  22. INSTALL REAR FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Align the claws at the top of the rear fog light assembly, then engage the claws at the bottom of the rear fog light assembly as shown in the illustration to install the rear fog light assembly.

      Install in this Direction
    2. Install the bracket A and bracket B with the 2 screws.
