Installation [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL NO. 2 COOLING FAN MOTOR 
    1. Install the No. 2 cooling fan motor with the 3 screws. (for 100 W Type)

      Torque: 2.6 N*m (27 kgf*cm, 23 in.*lbf) 

    2. Install the No. 2 cooling fan motor with the 3 screws. (for 200 W Type)

      Torque: 3.9 N*m (40 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the No. 2 cooling fan motor connector and engage the wire harness to the 2 clamps. (for 100 W Type)
    4. Connect the No. 2 cooling fan motor connector and engage the wire harness to the clamp. (for 200 W Type)
  2. INSTALL COOLING FAN MOTOR 
    1. Install the cooling fan motor with the 3 screws. (for 100 W Type)

      Torque: 2.6 N*m (27 kgf*cm, 23 in.*lbf) 

    2. Install the cooling fan motor with the 3 screws. (for 200 W Type)

      Torque: 3.9 N*m (40 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the cooling fan motor connector and engage the wire harness to the 2 clamps.
  3. INSTALL NO. 2 FAN 
    NOTE:

    Do not reverse the position of the fan and No. 2 fan when installing them. Doing so may damage the parts.

    1. Install the No. 2 fan with the nut.

      Torque: 6.3 N*m (64 kgf*cm, 56 in.*lbf) 

  4. INSTALL FAN 
    NOTE:

    Do not reverse the position of the fan and No. 2 fan when installing them. Doing so may damage the parts.

    1. Install the fan with the nut.

      Torque: 6.3 N*m (64 kgf*cm, 56 in.*lbf) 

  5. INSTALL FAN SHROUD ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the 3 guides.
    2. Engage the 3 claws to install the fan shroud assembly to the radiator assembly.
      NOTE:

      Do not damage the radiator assembly when installing the fan shroud assembly.

    3. Engage the 4 wire harness clamps.
    4. Connect the cooling fan ECU connector.
  6. CONNECT INLET NO. 1 OIL COOLER HOSE 
    1. Engage the clamp to connect the inlet No. 1 oil cooler hose to the fan shroud.
  7. CONNECT RADIATOR RESERVE TANK HOSE 
    1. Connect the radiator reserve tank hose.
  8. CONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE 
    1. Connect the No. 1 radiator hose and slide the clip to secure it.
  9. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  10. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  11. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [12/2013 - 11/2016]

  12. INSTALL BATTERY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 53

  13. INSTALL INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 57

  14. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [12/2013 - 11/2016]

  15. ADD ENGINE COOLANT 

    See step  3

  16. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  17. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 96

  18. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 84
