Disassembly [12/2012 - 08/2016]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2012 - 10/2015] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2015 - 08/2016]
- REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH REAR DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL
- REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- REMOVE DOOR ASSIST GRIP COVER LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
- Remove the 3 screws.
- Detach the 8 clips and remove the rear door trim board sub-assembly LH.
- Disengage the rear door lock remote control cable assembly LH and rear door inside locking cable assembly LH from the 2 clamps.
- Disconnect the rear door lock remote control cable and rear door inside locking cable LH.
- Remove the 3 screws.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP LH
- REMOVE REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5
- REMOVE REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH
- Disconnect the connector of the rear door lock assembly LH.
- Pull out the rear door lock remote control cable LH, rear door inside locking cable LH and wire harness from the rear door service hole cover LH, and then remove the rear door service hole cover LH.
HINT:
Remove any remaining butyl tape from the rear door panel.
- Disconnect the connector of the rear door lock assembly LH.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW DIVISION BAR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
- Temporarily install the rear power window regulator switch assembly with rear door armrest base panel.
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Move the rear door window regulator sub-assembly LH so that the rear door glass channel can be seen.
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2012 - 10/2015] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2015 - 08/2016]
- Remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly with rear door armrest base panel.
- Remove the screw and 2 bolts.
- Remove the rear door window division bar sub-assembly LH together with the rear door glass run as shown in the illustration.
- Remove the rear door window division bar sub-assembly LH from the rear door glass run LH.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR QUARTER WINDOW GLASS LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR QUARTER WINDOW WEATHERSTRIP LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS CHANNEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS CHANNEL FILLER
- REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS RUN LH
- Remove the front side of the rear door glass run LH.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
- Disconnect the connector.
*1 Temporary Bolt - Loosen the temporary bolt.NOTE:
Do not remove the temporary bolt. If the temporary bolt is removed, the rear door window regulator sub-assembly LH may fall and become damaged.
- Remove the 3 bolts and rear door window regulator sub-assembly LH.
- Remove the temporary bolt from the rear door window regulator sub-assembly LH.
- Disconnect the connector.
- REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH

- REMOVE REAR DOOR STIFFENER CUSHION LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR BELT MOULDING ASSEMBLY LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12
- REMOVE REAR DOOR WITH MOTOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12
- REMOVE REAR DOOR LOCK REMOTE CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE LOCKING CABLE ASSEMBLY LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR LOCK CHILD PROTECTION COVER LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE COVER LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY LH
- Pull and hold the release plate of the rear door outside handle frame sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.
HINT:
The release plate may interfere with the rear door outside handle assembly and may be damaged when removing the rear door outside handle assembly, unless the release plate of the rear door outside handle frame sub-assembly is pulled and held.
- Remove the rear door outside handle assembly LH by sliding and pulling it in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration.
- Pull and hold the release plate of the rear door outside handle frame sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR FRONT OUTSIDE HANDLE PAD
- REMOVE REAR DOOR REAR OUTSIDE HANDLE PAD
- REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR CHECK ASSEMBLY LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR FRAME GARNISH LH
- REMOVE DOOR WINDOW FRAME MOULDING CLIP

- REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

- REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE STRIPE LH
