Removal [11/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work (Refer to PRECAUTION [11/2015 - 06/2017] and Refer to PRECAUTION [06/2017 - ] ).

  2. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 and Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 
    WARNING:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

  4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 and Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH (for LH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 and Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  6. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 and Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  7. DISCONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 and Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  8. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 and Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  9. REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER 
    1. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the lap belt outer anchor cover.

  10. DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the floor anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly.

  11. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 and Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  12. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR UPPER GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 and Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the bolt and the disconnect the shoulder anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly.

    2. Using a screwdriver, pull out the locking button in the direction shown by the arrow in the illustration to release the lock, and disconnect the pretensioner connector as shown in the illustration.

    3. Remove the 2 bolts.

    4. Disengage the 2 hooks and remove the front seat outer belt assembly.
