Removal [06/2017 - 09/2019]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [06/2017 - 09/2019]

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [06/2017 - 08/2018] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2018 - 09/2019]

  3. DISCONNECT REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for TMC Made) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY 

    for TMC Made:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

    for TMMK Made:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  5. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  7. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  8. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  9. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  10. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  11. REMOVE CENTER STOP LIGHT SET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  12. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  13. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  14. REMOVE INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [06/2017 - 08/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [08/2018 - 09/2019]

  15. REMOVE INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  16. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT HOLE COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  17. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  18. REMOVE ROOM PARTITION BOARD LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  19. REMOVE FUEL PUMP CONTROL ECU 
    1. Disconnect the 2 fuel pump control ECU connectors.

    2. Remove the nut and fuel pump control ECU from the vehicle body.
      NOTE:

      Do not reuse the fuel pump control ECU if it has been dropped or subjected to a severe impact.

  20. REMOVE FUEL PUMP CONTROL ECU BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and fuel pump control ECU bracket from the fuel pump control ECU.
