Removal [06/2016 - 03/2017]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY 

    (Refer to REMOVAL [06/2016 - 03/2017] )

  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL ORNAMENT (w/ Large Ornament Panel) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  3. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Large Ornament Panel) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 instrument cluster finish panel garnish.

  6. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 6 claws.
    3. Disconnect each connector and air conditioning control assembly.

    4. Disengage the 2 claws and heater control cable sub-assembly.

      HINT: 

      Setting the temperature adjustment dial to MAX HOT is useful when replacing the air conditioner unit assembly, and makes positioning easier when attaching cables.

    5. Disengage the 2 claws and air inlet damper control cable sub-assembly to remove the air conditioning control assembly.

      HINT: 

      Setting the blower dial to DEF is useful when replacing the air conditioner unit assembly, and makes positioning easier when attaching cables.
