Removal [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

- REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22
- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER
- Disengage the clamp to disconnect the No. 4 engine wire from the wire harness bracket.

- Remove the No. 1 engine cover from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly LH.
- REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 2)
- Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

- Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.
- Using SST, remove the air fuel ratio sensor from the exhaust manifold assembly LH (TWC: Front Catalyst).
NOTE:
If the air fuel ratio sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

- REMOVE NO. 1 EGR PIPE
Refer to REMOVAL [11/2016 - ]
- REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12
- REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 1)
- Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

- Disengage the 3 wire harness clamps.
- Using SST, remove the air fuel ratio sensor from the exhaust manifold (TWC: Front Catalyst).

NOTE:
If the air fuel ratio sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
