Removal [12/2013 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH 

    For Manual Seat: Refer to REMOVAL [12/2013 - ]

    For Power Seat: Refer to REMOVAL [12/2013 - ]

  2. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE (for Manual Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 (12/2013 - 11/2015)

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 (11/2015 - 11/2016)

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 (11/2016 -)

  3. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (for Manual Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 (12/2013 - 11/2015)

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 (11/2015 - 11/2016)

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 (11/2016 -)

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Manual Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 (12/2013 - 11/2015)

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 (11/2015 - 11/2016)

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 (11/2016 -)

  5. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (for Manual Seat) 
    1. Separate the wire harness from the 2 clamps.

      "TORX" Bolt
      Connector
    2. Disconnect the connector.
    3. Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the "TORX" bolt and seat position airbag sensor with the seat slide position sensor protector.
    4. Remove the seat position airbag sensor from the seat slide position sensor protector as shown in the illustration.

  6. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (for Power Seat) 
    1. Separate the wire harness from the 2 clamps.

      "TORX" Bolt
      Nut
      Connector
    2. Disconnect the connector.
    3. Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the "TORX" bolt, nut and seat position airbag sensor with the seat slide position sensor protector.
    4. Remove the seat position airbag sensor from the seat slide position sensor protector as shown in the illustration.
