Disassembly [11/2015 - 11/2016]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU (for Front Passenger Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  2. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  3. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Disconnect the rubber band of the separate type front seatback cover.

  4. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE 
    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

  5. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (for Driver Side) 
    1. Remove the screw and vertical adjusting handle.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Driver Side) 
    1. Disengage the claw and 3 guides.

    2. Disengage the claw, guide and 2 clips to remove the front seat cushion shield.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Front Passenger Side) 
    1. Disengage the claw and 4 guides.

    2. Disengage the claw, guide and 2 clips to remove the front seat cushion shield.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD (for Driver Side) 
    1. Disengage the claw and 3 guides.

    2. Disengage the claw and guide to remove the front seat inner cushion shield.

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD (for Front Passenger Side) 
    1. Disengage the claw and 4 guides.

    2. Disengage the claw and guide to remove the front seat inner cushion shield.

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  12. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (for Driver Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the 2 hooks.

    2. Disengage the fastener and separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

    3. Separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness from the seat clamp.

      Seat Clamp
    4. Disengage the claw and 3 clamps to separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.
    5. w/ Seat Heater System:
      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamp.
    6. Remove the 4 bolts.

    7. Disengage the 4 guides to remove the separate type front seatback assembly from the separate type front seat cushion assembly.
  14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 7 hog rings.

    2. Remove the 3 hog rings.

    3. Remove the 2 hog rings.

    4. Turn back the separate type front seatback cover.

    5. Remove the 2 nuts and disengage the 3 brackets.

    6. Disengage each claw and remove the 2 front seat headrest support assemblies.

  15. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD 
    1. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.
  16. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER 
    1. Remove the 4 hog rings.

    2. Remove the 2 hog rings to remove the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

  17. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  18. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  19. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR 
    1. Disengage each claw to remove the 2 front seatback edge protectors.

  20. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HOOK 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws.

    2. Remove the 2 front seatback hooks from the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

  21. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (for Driver Side) 
    1. Disengage the 13 hooks and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

  22. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (for Front Passenger Side) 
    1. w/ Seat Heater System:
      1. Disengage the 3 clamps.

    2. Disengage the 11 hooks and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

    1. Remove the 2 hog rings.

    2. Remove the 18 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

  24. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  25. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  26. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Driver Side)

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.
    3. Disengage the clip to remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.
  27. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Driver Side) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  28. REMOVE LH SEAT FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH (for Driver Side) 
    1. Disengage the 3 claws and guide to remove the LH seat front seat cushion edge protector LH.

  29. REMOVE LH SEAT FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH (for Driver Side) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  30. REMOVE RH SEAT FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH (for Front Passenger Side) 
    1. Disengage the 3 claws and guide to remove the RH seat front seat cushion edge protector LH.

  31. REMOVE RH SEAT FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH (for Front Passenger Side) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  32. REMOVE SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE 
    1. Disengage the 2 springs to remove the seat track adjusting handle.

  33. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE (for Front Passenger Side) 
    1. Disengage each claw and each clamp to remove the front seat wire.
  34. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT WIRE (w/ Seat Heater System) 
    1. Disengage each claw and each clamp to remove the No. 1 seat wire.
  35. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP 
    1. Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.
