Removal [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure

- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

- REMOVE FAN SHROUD

- REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8
- REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT
Refer to REMOVAL [12/2013 - 11/2016]
- REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
- Open the terminal cap.
- Remove the nut and disconnect the wire harness from terminal B.
- Disconnect the generator assembly connector from the generator assembly.
- Disconnect the compressor and magnetic clutch connector.
- Disconnect the 3 wire harness clamps.
- Remove the 2 bolts and then disconnect the generator assembly bracket.
- Remove the 2 bolts and generator assembly.
- Disconnect the wire harness clamp and then remove the generator assembly bracket.
- Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp bracket.
- Open the terminal cap.
