Disassembly [12/2013 - 11/2015]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (for Driver Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  2. REMOVE OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU (for Front Passenger Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  6. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER (w/o Climate Control Seat System) 
    1. Disconnect the rubber band of the separate type front seatback cover.

  7. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER (w/ Climate Control Seat System) 
    1. Disengage the 2 hooks to disconnect the 2 rubber bands of the separate type front seatback cover.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD (for Driver Side) 
    1. Disengage the claw and 3 guides.

    7. Separate the wire harness from the wire harness guide.

      1. Disconnect the connector from the front power seat switch.

      1. Disconnect the 2 connectors from the position control ECU and switch assembly.
    10. Disconnect the connector from the front lumbar power seat switch.

        Disconnect the connector from the variable cushion switch.

    7. Separate the wire harness from the wire harness guide.
    8. Disconnect the connector from the front power seat switch.

  12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER NO. 1 CUSHION SHIELD 
    1. w/ Variable Seat Cushion System:

        Disengage the hook.

    2. Remove the 2 screws.

    3. Disengage the claw and clip to separate the front seat inner No. 1 cushion shield.
    4. Disengage the clamp.

  13. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB 
    1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  14. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB 
    1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

  15. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/o Seat Position Memory System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  16. REMOVE POSITION CONTROL ECU AND SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Position Memory System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  17. REMOVE FRONT LUMBAR POWER SEAT SWITCH (for Driver Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  18. REMOVE SEAT VARIABLE CUSHION SWITCH (w/ Variable Seat Cushion System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  19. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

    8. Disengage the 4 guides to remove the separate type front seatback assembly from the separate type front seat cushion assembly.

    1. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.

  28. REMOVE FRONT SEAT NO. 2 WIRE 
    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front seat No. 2 wire.

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.
    3. Disengage the clip to remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

      Disengage the 3 claws and guide to remove the LH seat front seat cushion edge protector LH.

  40. REMOVE LH SEAT FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH (for Driver Side) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  41. REMOVE RH SEAT FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH (for Front Passenger Side)

      Disengage the 3 claws and guide to remove the RH seat front seat cushion edge protector LH.

  42. REMOVE RH SEAT FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH (for Front Passenger Side) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  43. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT WIRE (for Front Passenger Side) 
    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the No. 1 seat wire.
  44. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE 
    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front seat wire.
  45. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP 
    1. Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.
